Rutpen sponsored Dan Ludlow Honda Civic FN2 at Castle Combe

The Whitsun Bank Holiday Race Day is an annual event at Castle Combe Circuit.  For 2017 this included a new feature race; the Dave Allan Memorial endurance race lasting 45 minutes and featuring a pit stop with the option of a driver change. Competing in the inaugural event was the Rutpen sponsored Honda Civic FN2 of Dan Ludlow. Dan being particularly competitive in the wet, the heavy afternoon rain looked to be favouring him, but the track started to dry out before the feature race making tyre choice a challenge.  Despite this, and 2 race stoppages causing further disruption, Dan was in the top 10 and moving up the field when the race was red-flagged.

We wish Dan good luck for the rest of the season.
